Blue cheese - white or yellow in color with a blue or green color that looks a little like a marble effect through it.
Sharp or tangy taste that's a little salty.

Brie cheese - ivory or yellow in color and a very creamy, rich taste. Is a soft cheese.
Cheddar cheese - color ranges from white to pale yellow. When color has been
added is a yellow-orange color. I didn't know that until I watched one of Sara from the Food Network's
shows. Taste ranges from mild to strong depending on age. Is a hard cheese.
Farmers cheese - semi soft, sweet and creamy cheese.
Feta cheese - white in color and ranging from soft to semi-hard. Salty,
tangy flavor that can be anywhere from mild to sharp in taste.
Fontina cheese - mild and somewhat nutty taste. A semi-soft cheese.
Gouda cheese - yellow in color with a sweet and fruity taste. Is a hard cheese.
Gruyere cheese - hard yellow cheese with a sweet and slightly salty taste.
Jarlsberg cheese - a mild flavored, slightly sweet and nutty taste. Yellow in color with large holes.
Mozzarella - we all know this from it being on pizza. Soft and white cheese with a mild taste.
Pecorino cheese - name of Italian cheese made from sheep's milk.
Has a sharp and nutty taste. Considered a hard cheese.
Swiss cheese - we all know this one because of the holes it has. Has a nutty, bittersweet
taste. The larger the holes are you get a stronger taste.
