This replacement filter fits your VicksA(R) Cool Mist model V400 and has a 2 stage filtration system. The first filter contains non-woven material to trap small particles of dust, lint, dander, mold, pollen, and smoke. The second filter contains carbon which absorbs odors and gases. We recommend that for the best filtering capability from your unit, replace your filter every 2 months.
