Speedster HD ("Heavy Duty") follows the lead of the Arx and Guru HD reels by incorporating a full-cage design to capture line without failure. The full-cage design is the solution for thin-diameter running lines that are inclined to escape through spool/line-guard gaps. Speedster HD and Speedster have a taller and more narrow format compared to other reels in the Lamson lineup.Black Speedster HD is virtually the same reel as the Speedster HD, finished in a smooth black Hard Alox anodize.
