Classifiers, gold panning kits, metal detectors, pry bars, sluice boxes, other gold prospecting equipment, gold prospecting books, gold prospecting maps, rockhounding books and rockhounding maps
Thinking about doing a little prospecting for gold or rockhounding for gemstones? You'll need to get yourself some
gold prospecting books, gold prospecting maps, gold prospecting tools and some
rockhounding books.
BlackCatMining.com is
your source for these supplies. You can find
gold prospecting books,
rockhounding books
and
treasure hunting books.
These books have a wealth of information for the hobbyist, those just looking
for some fun or those of you looking to do a little bit of prospecting for gold
to make your fortune.
There are gold prospecting books and maps informing you where to find gold and other minerals, how
and where to pan for gold, dredging, running a high banker or dry washer, how to
set up a sluice box and other interesting topics you'll enjoy learning about.
Also, rockhouding books, books about dinosaurs and fossils.
They've got all the gold prospecting and rockhounding supplies you'll need including: classifiers, gold concentrates, gold pans (standard sized, 14" proline professional and estwing steel gold pans) gold panning kits, gold prospecting books, gold prospecting maps, sluice boxes, glass vials, jeweler's loupes, metal detectors, snuffer bottles and other mining supplies.
Here's a selection of some of their gold prospecting books, gold prospecting equipment and maps: For the kids or even some of us a little older, there are kids books on dinosaurs and fossils. Most little boys I know love dinosaurs, so why not let them learn more about sauropods, stegosaurs, theropods and those other rather large fellas. They also cover some ghost towns and history tourism, metal detecting, relic hunting and lost and/or buried treasure, ship wrecks and more.
I recently watched a very interesting television show about rockhounding. To be
honest, I didn't know what it was until watching the show. The definition
of rockhounding is the recreational collecting of rocks and/or mineral specimens from their natural environment.
It means regular people just like you and I can actually visit areas of the
country and search for gem stones such as amethysts, opals and others. Other
than having to pay a small fee of maybe $25 or so a day, (depending on the
individual area you visit) we can get ourselves a
rockhounding book,
find an area to do our
rockhounding and with a few simple tools we might find ourselves a large amethyst, opal or other gem stone
to keep. Simple as that.
For any parents out there who may have themselves a little geologist in the
making, this I'm sure would be a big thrill for them to find their own gem stones or rocks. Quite educational as well.
