Had your share of bad hair
days? I can offer a couple of hair tips, at least from my own experience:
To
help detangle my hair, after shampooing, I always use a hair conditioner. After a few minutes,
with my fingers I gently work my way through removing any tangles.
I comb through my hair using a plastic wide tooth comb before rinsing conditioner out.
Don't wring your hair or rub
it with a towel to dry it. Best to just gently pat it dry with a towel but if
you must, very, very gently squeeze it.
While drying, also use a wide tooth comb, not a brush.
If I have time I just let my hair dry naturally. Might sound silly but if in a hurry
I dry it in front of a fan.
If using a hair dryer, try to
use cool setting but if you use the hot, keep it at a distance from
your hair so not to damage it.
Good idea to gently
massage your head every once in a while. Feels really good too.
Don't use rubberbands
or anything else that pulls or tugs at your hair because it damages your hair. There's lots of hair
accessories made of fabric or coated that won't damage it.
