Because of its fray-resistance, CC can expand frequently at the cut-end without unraveling. With a heated knife, CC yields an end that is almost fray-free. Regular scissors can be used to cut it cleanly and easily, and the end is kept fray-resistant during installation. Scissor cut Clean Cut ends won't fray as easily as conventional PT ends while being handled roughly. This 3/4" variety has an expansion range of 5/8" to 1".
